It occured to us that, with all the spending that goes on during this season, the people who receive the most are the ones who own the big stores. Why Wishzilla?
You're probably asking yourself, "Self, why does Wishzilla care? Aren't they another big corporation with their eyes set on my money?" Well, part of the reason we care is that we are not a big corporation. We are a small business— technically a micro-business— and one of the driving forces behind the creation of Wishzilla was the need to create a wishlist of non-traditional items. You can wish for a specific item from a specific store just as easily as you can ask for an abstract concept, like world peace. And, since we are a family-oriented company, you'll notice we call any group of people a 'family.' Furthermore, the more time you spend on the site, the more you'll notice something is missing: ads. We want your experience here to be as personal and comfortable as possible, so we try to limit distractions (and a looming cloud of commercialism) as much as possible.
